When I was 10, I started doodling wedding gowns on countless long car rides all over North Dakota in the back seat of my mom's car. When I was 13, I saw my first bridal ad campaign in Bride's magazine, and dreamt of the chance of getting to do that one day.
A year ago I quit my job working in the fashion industry. It was a decision made after experiencing many hard and life-changing moments, and realizing that sometimes that these are the necessary experiences to go through that often put life into perspective and drive you to your passions.
After years of dreaming and putting in the work, I shot MY first bridal campaign. It was one of the best days of my life, and I wanted to share that special day with you and show you the faces of the individuals who helped make my childhood dream come true.
To the men and women in these shots who listened, heard and understood my vision, and used their gifts and skills to love me and make my dreams come true. I am so thankful and overwhelmed. Here's to making art and telling stories one dress at a time.
